The Professional Services team works directly with customers to ensure they gain maximum value from SmartPM through expert guidance, interpretation, and support.
Role Overview
SmartPM is seeking a Professional Services Specialist with Owner-Side Experience to help customers interpret and apply schedule analytics within the SmartPM platform.
This role will focus on translating complex schedule data into insights for owners, developers, and project stakeholders who may not have deep scheduling expertise.
Candidates with experience working as an Owner’s Representative or advising project owners are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to owners and project stakeholders using SmartPM
- Translate complex schedule data into clear, actionable insights for customers
- Help customers understand schedule performance, delay risk, and project health
- Provide guidance on CPM scheduling concepts and delay analysis techniques
- Support SmartPM platform adoption and best practices among customers
- Collaborate with the Sales team on customer demonstrations focused on owners and developers
- Provide feedback to Engineering on product improvements based on customer needs
- Contribute to marketing and thought leadership initiatives
- Work closely with Customer Success to drive long-term customer satisfaction and retention
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in construction project controls, scheduling, or owner advisory roles
- Experience working as an Owner’s Representative or advising project owners
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling principles
- Working knowledge of delay analysis techniques
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to translate technical schedule information into business insights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with federal or government construction projects
- Familiarity with SmartPM software
- Experience presenting schedule insights to executive or owner stakeholders
