As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and usability of our complex UI by conducting comprehensive regression testing prior to each release. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify, document, and track issues, ensuring our application remains reliable and high-quality for our users.
This position will report to the VP of Engineering and will be located in Atlanta, GA.
What you’ll do:
- Perform manual regression testing across a complex, dynamic user interface prior to every release.
- Execute test cases and report issues clearly with detailed reproduction steps.
- Maintain and update test case documentation to reflect UI and workflow changes.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand new features and ensure test coverage.
- Participate in release readiness reviews and provide input on risk and test coverage.
- Assist in exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Track bugs and issues through resolution using tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Testmo.
- Provide clear feedback and documentation to support quick resolution of defects.
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, with a strong focus on UI and regression testing.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred - Experience testing web applications with complex user interfaces.
- Preferred - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and browser developer tools.
- Preferred - Knowledge of accessibility and usability standards is a plus.
