We seek a highly skilled and experienced Professional Services Manager with expertise in Project Controls or Forensic Delay Analysis to join our dynamic team at SmartPM Technologies. The ideal candidate will manage and deliver professional services to our clients, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction, objectivity, and project success. This role requires a hands-on professional who can self-perform deliverables while leading a team and driving service excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of professional services, ensuring client requirements and project objectives are met, using the SmartPM Schedule Controls Platform as the centerpiece of analyses. Actively manage service performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as clients’ primary point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their project management challenges by utilizing the SmartPM Schedule Controls Platform.
  • Self-Performance: Directly perform critical deliverables, including project assessments, analysis, reporting, and presentations. Demonstrate hands-on expertise in delivering high-quality professional services.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professional services consultants. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, providing guidance and support to ensure the team’s success.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve professional services methodologies and processes. Implement best practices to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Develop and deliver detailed reports and analysis on project performance, delays, and controls. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership of customer success, sales, product development, and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Provide feedback to enhance product offerings and align services with client needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, forensic delay analysis, or a related role within the construction or project management industry.
  • Previous consulting experience and responsibility for delivering high-quality solutions and results. 
  • Proven expertise in forensic delay analysis or construction project controls, with a strong track record of delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-perform key deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and analysis tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other relevant software.
  • PMP, CCP, PSP, or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience in the SmartPM Schedule Controls Platform is a bonus.
