SmartPM is looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager to design and oversee the Project Controls function of our product. The Product Manager will shape the product roadmap for the Schedule Analysis product and own the strategy for all new features, while collaborating with sales, marketing, and engineering teams. You’ll lead all efforts from concept, discovery, release, and maintenance throughout the product life cycle.

This position will report to the CTO and will be located in Atlanta, GA.

What you’ll do:

• Help define and execute our schedule project controls roadmap to evolve our product in regards to schedule project controls

• Develop and lead product strategy in alignment with company vision and through collaboration with internal stakeholders and personal industry insight

• Oversee product development and design

• Maintain a deep understanding of the market and technology landscape, how it's evolving, and the implications for our customers

• Identify the key benefits and value of products. This will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training)

• Conduct market research and understand customer needs to effectively manage development and delivery

• Define requirements and stories that need to be implemented in order to implement overall product roadmap

• Assist in validating the features that are implemented by the engineering team

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable work experience

• 5 years experience in Technical Product Management

• Effective communication skills with a strong ability to influence and lead teams

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills

• A track record in product management, demonstrating a product that you have created and launched into the market

• Love finding, designing and deploying technical solutions, having proven experience in a technical role

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with construction software

• Experience with analyzing schedule on construction projects

• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
